Good reminder, Terri, that our freedom came at a great cost.
Freedom is not cheap! It doesn't come from the lawyers or lawmakers, it comes from soldiers. The ones that faught, and the ones that don't give their lives, still give their lives to our service. My son that is career AF has been sent all over the world, and I've only seen him 8 times in 20 years. They give up friends and family to do their jobs. The other son is sent out of town for training while he has a young bride at home and she's pregnant. They give up their confort for us, and their lives.
None of them should be far from our thoughts and prayers, today and every day.
